Royal/T : Tune in Tokyo

Japanese event at Royal/T, of course we're in.
Amado sent me the newsletter more than once over the week.
A very obvious hint that he really wanted to go.

Royal/T hosted an event for Tune in Tokyo, a Japanese Lolita Fashion with live performances.
Theres no doubt he enjoyed that night.

"A Very Anxious Feeling"
I want that neon sign!

She was our fav!

My Photography Comfort Zone

Natural light is very unpredictable yet something I've always enjoyed using since I started doing photography.
It's been my style and I've gotten comfortable with it.

I wanted to shake things up a bit and try strobing.
I'm definitely out of my comfort zone here but I'm also excited.
After reading pages of website and countless videos about strobing, I decided to bug Amado
to help me try things out.

Jeremiah

Besides being Barangay LA's "Mr. Media", I'm glad to also refer to Jeremiah as a friend. While we were preparing to march down Downtown LA for the Lunar Parade, he asked me to help him with some photos to go along with his media profile/resume.

See, he really is just all smiles!
I wanted to highlight his fun and upbeat personality in his photos. He is after all our organization's
PR and Marketing guy.

I can't leave out Adrian's photo. Another great assistant!
I asked him to sit in so I can adjust my settings while Jer took a phone call.
You're now on my "Assistant" list, right after Amado lol.

Saturday Morning

It's rare that Amado and I sleep in during the weekend.
Mainly because we're woken up by these two always wanting to play.

"Ugh there's that camera again!"

Rachel and Jason - Engagement

After meeting with Rachel and Jason at Frosted in Belmont Shores last week, I knew right away
that we'd get along. Helloooo, cupcakes were involved!
We chatted for a few minutes about their wedding and some ideas for their engagement photos.
I mentioned that there's an ice cream parlor in Manhattan Beach that I've been dying to photograph.
Rachel's response was, "Have you been talking to April?"
A mutual friend of ours she previously mentioned the idea to.
So cupcakes and ice cream, plus points in my book.
Well, that and they are a fun and adorable couple.

Rachel, for a shy and quiet girl you definitely know how to work the camera!

And it's Jason's turn, who keeps Rachel smiling and laughing.

Needless say, I'm sooooo looking forward to their wedding.
