Rachel and Jason - Wedding

"Keep calm and carry on".
Rachel must have been repeating that to herself the entire morning while preparing for her and Jason's wedding.
Nothing seemed to faze her. Her calmness helped tremendously especially for Amado and I.

Throughout the day, Rachel and Jason were surrounded by close family and friends.
We had an amazing time with this group. It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones.

Kudos to Jean for handling most of the girls hair and make up all by herself.

Definitely didn't want to miss this heartfelt moment with Rachel reading Jason's card and unveiling his gift to her.
The reactions of the Bridesmaids with their tears and awes in the background definitely helped fill up the room with even more love.

The Groom and his Best Man, Jon who was on top of things. Mucho Kudos.

"The most interesting men in the world." Yeah I quoted a beer ad but they're killing it in this shot.

Of course the ladies didn't let the guys take all the spotlight. They worked it out too!
I got my own Givenchy FW 2012 shot.

Jason's mom takes a brief but timeless glance back at her son while every one else waits anxiously to see the bride walk down the isle.

La Jolla couldn't have been more perfect on the day of for their wedding.

Congratulations Rachel and Jason!

Weekend, San Diego, Weddings

No matter how prepared you are, events will always go on its own course.
You can jot down a plan A, B and C but sometimes you''ll need to come up with plan D on the spot.
Not sure why, but I live for those last minute challenges.

Here's a quick look at what Amado and I did this weekend.

Congrats Rachel and Jason!

Weekend Score

For Amado, scored his new bandana scarf while we cruised around LA with his cousins.
I kinda want one too but luckily we share everything in our closet, except for our bags.

And speaking of bags.
I've been obsessing over Cast of Vices Corner Store Leather Shopper bags.
Very soft lambskin and quirky. What's not to love!
Royal T had its final event and everything was on sale.
They had the last one and I was able to bargain for it, dirt cheap!
Reminds me of the Prada Varsity Shopping bag but way cheaper.

There goes my self-imposed bag ban. But again, it was on sale! Dirty cheap!
Yeah, I'm still trying to convince myself.
