Always A Newbie

Cleaning up my external hard drive gave me a chance to take another glance at photos that I've taken. 

Like before, I'm still determined to learn as much as I can of this art form. I remember forcing myself to

learn to only shoot manually and set a goal to lessen the shots I take by being more selective.

Having a connection with a subject whether it be a person or an object is my main criteria.

Knowing what shot I want and figuring out how to execute it is still my goal.

I hope that my photographs can convey stories and emotions that I sometimes struggle to put into words.

Japanese dishes seems to be very simple and minimal but with strong flavors.

And yes I know, another blog post about food.

Chicken Salad in a Bread Cup

I've always wanted to make this.

The first time I had it was when I was around 9 or 10 yrs old, let's not ask how old I am now.

My mom brought some home from work and that was the first and only time I've had it.

The dish has been imbedded in my brain every since.

I came across the blog Fork Spoon n Knife and was surprised how easy it was to make it.

Had an opportunity to work with a couple of talented people for a mock wedding shoot.

No better time to apply my new rule of saying "YES!".

Made some mistakes but I think I'm happy enough that I'm able to recognize those mistake.

Just hope I remember not to let it happen again.
