Random post about two things I'm obsessing about right now.

Although we live by the beach, sometimes the cold air isn't good enough for when we're sleeping.

I'd rather freeze than sweat while sleeping. I'm one of those people that cranks up the A/C

whenever we're staying at a hotel. I expect to see my breath in the cold air while looking at the room service menu!

Enter the Dyson fan.

I've been obsessed with this fan since I first saw one at the store. And yes, I was standing in front of it for what seemed to be an hour. Putting my hand through it going ooh and aahhh at Best Buy.

So when Amado and I went in for a random walk and saw they had one on sale for dirt cheap,

we took the bait and bought one.

It really is better than the rusted wire cage fan we had which collected so much dust and gave us allergies. I know, I know, why not just clean it. I did clean it as often as I could to the point where it was rusting and the paint was peeling off.

The one we got is pretty strong for its size. Even Juku and Kami started to sleep at the foot of our

bed hogging all the air.

Next one is Calla Lily. 

While typing this post, I've stared at them maybe 4 or 5 times already.

It's a great distraction for me specially when sitting in front of the computer for hours editing.

Hopefully they last longer than the other flowers I've tried.

For now I give up on orchids. I've killed about 6 potted orchids already.

It's just not meant to be.
